History
Ⅰ . Everything was great until Tara was about twelve when she began to notice a rift growing between her mother and father. He had found someone else and while he didn’t cheat he wanted to and was willing to leave this family for another. Her parents were married young and didn’t put much thought into it.
Ⅱ . A writer for an “ask” article at a large magazine corporation. Tara has mall online job rating websites as extra cash to splurge. Mostly on food. She is a casual bartender on weekends which helps her keep up with her rent.
Ⅲ . She has an enemy since moving to NYC from PA. Alexandria Pierce: a work relationship. Alexandria is and considering how long she’s been working at the magazine and went without promotion (though, truth be told, no one likes her but she’s an excellent worker and niece to the bossman). Alexandria is good at her job but not nearly as good as Tara who hasn’t worked at the magazine long and has already had a promotion.
Ⅳ . Dated a man named Gallagher. Gallagher was her first and until recently her only. She regrets letting Gallagher go and sometimes she wants to pick up the phone and find him but she is too proud for that.
Ⅴ . She wants to be a novelist like her mother only she’d prefer to write science fiction and fantasy.

Personality
I. She is optimistic about her future and the possibility of change in people she knows but pessimistic about the world changing and people she doesn’t know.
Ⅱ . She is in the habit of writing where she doesn’t need to wait for inspiration and she’s very self-motivated.
Ⅲ . Self-motivated. This girl may have procrastinated in high school but in college she learned to work through it. She read many books to help her get past writers block and now she just goes for it. No regrets. She gets herself up. She does jog but she prefers the elliptical at the local gym. She gets dressed, she doesn’t eat too well but isn’t always going out. She has self-control and will get herself moving when she needs to. She does have her “Netflix and chill” moments but mostly she’s on the go getting her life together.
Ⅳ . She is probably the most stubborn girl you will ever meet. She likes to try and keep an open mind but a lot of the times she has narrow minded views. Once she makes up her mind about something there is no turning back. Usually these are actions only but sometimes she feels strongly about subjects as well.
Ⅴ . She's embarrassed by her mouth. She likes to get mouthy. While she has self-control most of the time there are times she’s flown off the handle. With her ex, Gallagher especially. A lot of the times she makes a fool of herself stumbling over words. She’s better at writing than talking when she’s nervous but other than that she can be quite witty.
